Lucas Labrador is a classical and contemporary ballet dancer from Argentina. He is currently based in Atlanta, GA.
Most recently as part of Atlanta Ballet he has performed “The Premiere” by Ricardo Amarante, “Return to a Strange Land” by Jyri Kilian, the new Nutcracker by Yuri Possokhov, “Sylphide” by Johan Kobborg, “Sandpaper” by Mark Morris. ''Catch'' and ''Vespertine'' by Liam Scarlett, and ''First Impulse'' by Claudia Shreier.
Before this he spent two seasons at the Argentinian National Ballet under the direction of former Royal Ballet principal dancer Inaki Urlezaga. Lucas has toured South America and Europe, performing roles in Swan Lake, Carmen, Paquita, La Traviata, Giselle, Birthday Offering by Frederick Ashton, Gaite Parisiens and Pas de Slave.
As a member of Atlanta Ballet 2, his repertoire included lead and starring roles in Beauty & the Beast and Atlanta Ballet’s Nutcracker, plus roles in Swan Lake and Don Quixote.
Lucas has won first place in the pas de deux category at the Youth America Grand Prix in Atlanta and second place in the ensemble category at the New York City finals and he is a proud alumni from the prestigious Rock School in Philadelphia. As part of Rock school he choreographed a piece for the Curtis Symphony Orchestra
As guest teacher he has taught at Rock School summer intensive, Still Pointe, Sandra Racedo school, Brian Mansilla dance studio.
